A Tasty Treat to begin our Friday.

First Grade Snowmen Houses
First Grade Students learned about Snowflakes and how they form when water vapor travels through the air and then condenses on a particle. A slowly growing ice crystal turns into a beautiful snowflake! Each snowflake is unique however they are all symmetrical and have six-fold radial symmetry. The first grade unit of study has included writing creative snow stories, reading snow stories, making snowflakes, glister galore snowmen and creating snowmen houses.
Thank you to our construction crew (the wonderful parents) who helped make the culminating activity possible.

More from the Winter Program!!!
