Maria’s mom, Sara, read First Graders the book "Ilyas & Duck and the Fantastic Festival of Eid-al-Fitr" and answered student’s questions about Eid-al-Fitr! Students learned that giving Zakat is when money is given to help those less fortunate and in need. Sara shared about having compassion for others, for family, and the importance of friendship.
